Rating system
The rating system we use has been inspired by the one used by the New York Times for many years. What we do is we simply measure just how much we want to come back. This can lead to expensive restaurants getting lower reviews than cheap places even though the food is actually better. Value for money, service, atmosphere and seating are just some of the things we will consider when rating a restaurant.
The Ratings are as follows:
No star: Not good, we will never go back and would tell friends to stay away.
* : Ok, neither good nor bad, we might go again but probably not often.
** : Good, a good solid experience that we will tell our friends about.
*** : Very Good, restaurants to which we will return many, many times to enjoy.
**** : Outstanding, a truly superb experience which only a very select group of restaurants will achieve.
It should be noted that any restaurant receiving 2 or more stars is very much worth going to and receives our warm recommendation.
